Academics

The vision at St. Aloysisus is to teach a coherent, cumulative, and content-specific core curriculum. Our academic focus is to establish a sustainable curriculum for our students educating faith-filled leaders of tomorrow and building a solid foundation of learning and spiritual growth.

Our academic curriculum is based on the Core Knowledge Sequence, which builds students’ knowledge on what they already know. Core Knowledge is an engaging, challenging, and content-rich curriculum that builds and grows from year to year. It provides a solid foundation for literacy and learning that promotes academic excellence for St. Aloysius students. For more information about Core Knowledge, you may visit http://www.coreknowledge.org/.

EnVision Math has proven success meeting the wide range of educational issues our teachers face while providing a strong curriculum. The program has been adopted this year by St Aloysius to meet the varied needs of our students. This outstanding Math program develops math concepts through interactive and visual learning that targets our students’ conceptual understanding.
